I found it funny but a friend of mine said it trivialized man's love of beer and woman's disdain for the middle aged male body. :) Enjoy.

1. Of course it trivializes beer and disdain... that's what makes it funny

2. Stupid maybe, but not sexist. The men in the commercial are just as grossed out as the women are
but the dumpy, unfit bodies around them (a.k.a -normal people, as opposed to the supermodel types usually seen in the media).Personally I've always hated ads with the premise that people will toss items worth 10-100x the value of a beer or sandwich to get that beer or sandwich. It's an old and overused theme.

4. It objectifies men as a sex symbols...
:sarcasm:

For years, one of the big complaints about beer commercials was about how it objectifies women. Now, they're showing middle aged (and up) men half naked and that's offensive too? Is there no place for partial nudity in alcohol advertising anymore?

But I have to say, R.F., I totally approve of your screen name. I am a big fan.

10. How utterly insulting!
That anyone would even suggest Bud Light was worth pocket lint, let alone any article of clothing!

Becks, Blue Moon (how apropo), St Pauli Girl, Bass Pale, Guiness... there are hundreds of beers, ales, bocks, lagers and stouts more worthy of a camisole, a bra, or a pair of cufflinks!

15. How can you trivialize "woman's disdain for the middle aged male body."?
Was their disdain previously held in high regard?
