I find Olbermann's obsession with him a bit off-putting, seeing as Keith doesn't have to engage hostile guests (and also due to the fact that their beef is about corporate warfare as much as ideology). Furthermore, O'Reilly is only of average intelligence and I'm sure he knows it - meaning that he's aware of the risk of getting schooled when debating people who are clearly smarter than he is. His reputation of being an ass in part stems from the fact that he is somewhat of an ass, but also because he's often involved in heated on-air exchanges, which can only happen if you actually have people with opposing viewpoints on the show.

hear what people with democratic views have to say all the way through. That's become so rare that even when Keith goes a bit overboard with his O'Reilly rants it's well worth tuning in. Besides, O'Reilly deserves the opposition to his insanity.

That's only one more reason I detest Fox News. They don't want an opinion that differs from their own or criticism, although like to put on a huge pretense. Billo and Insannity are incredibly rude to their guests who oppose them. Obviously Billo wasn't going give Joe Klein the opportunity to talk. I wish more people with a voice in the media would take on Fox.
