2. Does it bother anyone else that there are so few little children in the

pics? It was just getting dark when the quake hit - I am afraid that the children were in the houses. This is a highly populated country - there would be a lot of children.

3. I have survived 2 major earthquakes in my life

Sylmar Quake in1971 Magnitude 6.6 and the Northridge quake in 1994 magnitude 6.7. I'll never forget the how depressing and frightening it was to sit sit in the dark without electricity while the aftershocks hit all through the night. I can only imagine how much worse these people have it than I ever did.
