1. War and Peace...."replace one with the other"...
I like how he didn't say which....considering he has us in 2 wars, its no surprise.

2. Once again, I find myself in complete agreement with Mr. Hartmann
I wish more people were as level headed and capable of independent and methodical parsing/analysis of the specific issues at hand as Thom Hartmann.

I resent Mr. Obama for having turned me into a cynic at such young age... I wish I could say this was due to politics as usual, but that is no longer the case, I think from now on it is going to be corporate PR as usual. Sigh....

11. The speech just left me cold.
Obama's Nobel prize speech is the military industrial complex's wet dream.

5. The subject line description of this video is misleading
From the subject line, I expected this video to be an intelligent, focused critique of Obama's Nobel speech from a left wing, antiwar perspective. Instead, I got a rambling assortment of everything said over the past few months on the subject of Obama and America's "war on terror" (sic) from a left, antiwar perspective. Was there even a minute on Obama's actual words at the Nobel peace prize ceremony?

Anyway, perhaps this 10-minute commentary video could be a useful primer for someone on what the left thinks is wrong with some of Obama's military and foreign policies. Personally, I've been following the matter for a while, and I would like my 7 minutes back (which was where the time marker was when I abandoned hope for something thoughtful and novel.)

6. Yep, pretty much. Said no peace in our time.
We're bring gently conditioned for the war of U.S. Hegemony that Bushco started.

10. Obama sounded like Bush on steroids in that speech.
I bet the chimp admires him for selling the wars so eloquently.
