What I heard was a man that could think and he is frustrated with the government. It did not start with Obama for him, he goes back to Clinton even. He does take some right wing talking points but he is not a radical. Obama just is the one in office now. Easy target.

I think maybe it's this: many conservative, largely uneducated folks saw changes for many years...1964 Civil Rights Act, GLBT Rights, etc. They could deal with it as long as there was a "real Amurkin (white male)" in the White House. Now that we finally have a Black man as president, it kind of solidifies that this is not (thankfully in my humble opinion) the same Amur-ka either they (or I for that matter) grew up in.
