1. Good luck with that. There's not that many "payday loans" when there's fewer jobs.

2. I'm hoping people who have some money to spend, spend it.
They say that the country is beginning to show some economic promise, but it's not going to happen instantly. However, those who have a little money have to spend it for that trend to continue.

3. No! The vast majority of us are barely able to make ends meet. More Jobs!
I'm tired of propping up corporations ... but they'll LIE even if people don't spend. That how corrupt the marriage of M$M and Wall Street has become.

I'm saving and so are my family members. Most of the other peasants of the USA, if they're smart, will do the same.

4. I know, my friend. Someone in DU just posted an article about "mutant capitalism"
I think it's precisely that mutant capitalism that drowned us. I remember when everyone was all gun-ho about the WTO, outsourcing, and corporations were bs'ing us about how much better we were going to do once jobs were outsourced. I recall thinking that this was like a con-man saying, "If you give me all your money, you'll come into money more quickly."

I'm sick of capitalism, not just mutant capitalism. Every time the mega-rich, the corporations and their lackeys are allowed to run the show, the ones that lose are the rest: us.

5. Yes, you understand that we, the American People, need jobs before we can spend.
Thanks for the kind words. :-)

6. I do understand. I was there not too long ago and I'm not out of the woods yet
I'm beyond angry at the Republicans. I can't even think about them rationally anymore.
