Seven in ten Republicans say they would vote for Sarah even though less than 30 percent of all American voters polled said she was qualified to be President. The good news for Republicans is that they have finally found their true voice in Palin. Since their defeat in 2008, they have been trying to arrive at a state of equilibrium. Pundits on all sides were asking, who are the Republicans? Who best represents the face of the GOP? Anyone asking those questions should feel a sense of relief because Palin is telling us, Look no further: "It are I."

4. Take Compfort in ????
I don't see the Democrats offering a viable alternative with the status quo -

The Democrat progressive base (including Papantonio) have vowed to be MIA in 2012 if the status quo (more wars, economic policies benefitting Wall Street, no health care) doesn't change.

I don't see a third party candidate emerging by 2012 -

Hope springs eternal

5. Nothing takes the "M" out of "MIA"...
Like a Sarah Palin Presidential nomination.

John McCain, what hast thou wrought?

They can say they will be status quo but when given the choice of disagreeing with Obama or committing suicide by letting Palin win which will they choose.

Stay home if you want to.

8. "The Democrat progressive base."
What's that? There's a Democratic Progressive base, but "Democrat" is a noun, not an adjective.

Spreek Engrish! Not Republinese.

7. That's "It are me". Using a predicate nominative is too high brow for Sarah.

9. Look. Unfortunately, thanks to Obama's and the Democrat's failed policies thus far
all the Republicans will have to do is show up. Democrats aren't going to have the enthusiasm to put their candidates over the top.

2012 is Obama's to lose. Bush I lost, as did Jimmy Carter. Charisma gets you into office, but only competence and good policy get you re-elected. Obama is not off to a good start. He has one more year, and then the die is cast. Americans will vote for anyone but . . . .
