The Senate is working around the clock to come up with a healthcare bill. But, as Mike Papantonio of Air America's Ring of Fire points out, the only way to improve our current insurance-industry-based healthcare system is to repeal the McCarren-Ferguson Act, which allows insurance companies to fix prices and drop clients for no reason. By forcing this industry to operate on the same playing field as the rest of the economy, we could all be looking at lower premiums and better coverage. However, if President Obama and the Democrats fail to do this, this country could be primed for a GOP takeover in 2012.

1. Pap is right as usual.

2. "You Libruls"
I like how the MSM drones will throw around that phrase before any question in order to frame the coming response for the watching public who have been conditioned over the last couple of decades to mistrust anyone associated with that label.

The real debate should not have been about some $100,000 pork for votes, which as Paps says has been going on for 200 years, it should be about why, if 70% of the public want a public option, they are not going to get it.
