Chinese President Hu Jintao has called for free trade and investment liberalization during his address at the Asia-Pacific Economic Summit in Singapore.

The Chinese leader has also put forward a four-point proposal to boost economic growth and revive the world economy.

China would love to reduce its dependency on the US and dependency is a good word. The US dollar has become the opium of international trade and China is an addict, believes former stockbroker Max Keiser.

America has absolutely no intention whatsoever of repaying China one trillion dollars . That is why China cannot get enough of buying gold bullion. This is Warren Buffett toilet paper, claims Keiser.

11. Obama is doing damage control

We closed our factories and lost the know-how.

Now if we tried to re-open our factories, we would end up producing things of a much lesser quality, pretty much like the Chinese in the 70s and 80s.

Not that the Chinese don't produce a lot of junk, but from time to time they produce higher quality items.

I am glad I could buy a whole Whirlpool set for my kitchen (oven, top, fridge, dish washer as well as washer and dryer) when they were US-made.

Now they closed their factories.
