1. K&R'd for the Stylophone Solo

Thanks for posting this. I caught Roger's interview with Jools Holland and he mentioned he'd written a protest song. I didn't realise he'd actually released it.

He said something in that interview that is all too true: no one writes protest songs anymore. I've often wondered about that. Where are they all? The only complete album of contemporary protest songs I can think of is Neil Young's "Living With War" but there must be others.

4. I have two guesses...

1. There are a lot of High Street's in the UK. He's using it as a metaphor for everything is broken. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Street

2. He means taking the high road and that it's now full of pitfalls.
