2. Orrin Hatch
was once the undisputed heavy weight hypocrite of the Senate. He is now being challenged by every one of his Republican colleagues, numerous Democrats and the top rank contender and ever unctuous Holy "Smokin' Joe" Lieberman a.k.a Joey the Louse. Orrin's title is on the line big time.

6. My college kid was watching c-span all day yesterday. He
sent me a text that said, 'The worst hour was Orrin Hatch on abortion which is just absurd to even consider.' I love that kid, lol.

3. Good grief
They'll say anything to defeat the Democrats. More and more, they're all starting to sound like Michelle Bachmann. Nutery must be contagious.

10. and yet they keep winning every battle they take on by just throwing a no holds barred hissy fit
Edited on Sun Nov-22-09 08:18 PM by ooglymoogly
while our simpering dems, who bring the Marquis of Queensbury rules to a dog eat dog, no holds barred, fight, wring their hands, clutch their pearls and head for the swooning couch. Taking a wet noodle to a hatchet fight would be an understatement. They will not get their hands dirty no matter how much suffering they facilitate. Even with huge advantages, the dems have proven themselves totally incapable and nothing more than jelly fish inviting anyone who cares to step on them and are not up to the historic fight that must be fought to bring this country back into balance, if, and that is a big if, they even want to. Grayson is our only hope for the future. We need to put all our weight behind him and let him know we are with him come what may no matter how the corporate media tries to destroy him, hold him down and attempt to make him irrelevant, as they did and do, Kucinich and Dean. Except for a few I can count on two hands, the rest can just go fuck themselves. None of them are worth a plug nickle and are not getting a sou from me or my extended family or those I network with, from here on out. Anyone who would choose Rahm, who is responsible for the dino's infesting our party like vipers, to head up his team deserves our wrath as he is the primary reason we are fairing so badly in this debacle of a bill on healthcare.

11. It is so surreal
The Dems still haven't gotten the message that they are in power. After years of republican rule and thuggery, the Dems are still conditioned to act defensively. Grayson is new to DC, so he seems to be immune to the bullying and he speaks and behaves as if he has nothing to lose.

Maybe our congress critters need a deprogramming.

8. Like we ARE by "Wall Street"?
That was clearly the reason for "let the market decide"

the insurance companies either haven't had time or were less effective as "Wall Street"
