14. Refined oil.
Most oil producing countries don't refine their own oil.

Sanction Iraq LOL!
She is trying really hard to 'remember' her lines, but if you don't have a solid base of knowledge then it is easy to make stupid mistakes. It's going to be fun watching her when she starts talking more and more about policy instead of the Oprah type of fluff :)

10. Congrats Hannity! You're now on Palin's list with Gibson and Couric for asking 'gotcha' question.

9. The sad part is that I actually watched 26 seconds of this clip...
before turning it off.

Her response to the question is that we need to partner with other countries to pressure Iran to abandon their nuclear research.

Where has she been for the past three months? Didn't President Obama already do that during the UN General Session?

She's a frackin' idiot.

12. Hey, maybe that's what she really meant.
GWB invaded Iraq even though they had nothing to do with 9/11.

11. She needs Lieberman to whisper in her ear when she screws up.
It worked for McCain last year when he never knew which country he was in.

15. Cut Sarah some slack people...
Edited on Thu Nov-19-09 05:39 PM by tempelton1
...it ain't easy trying to remember not one but TWO memos prepared for you by your handlers. She can't be expected to do everything at once you know. She was just happy she managed to remember and then pronounce Ahmadinejad's name correctly - a little thing like mixing up the details about current situation (NOT just the names) of two key countries is small fry by comparison!

And heck, at least Hannity stepped in as the compotent and proper journalist that he is to correct her (as he would perhaps/possibly/maybe have done if a liberal had made the same mistake), right? You saw how he immediately questioned her error (which, again, was not just a mix-up in names but rather was some sort of cosmic melding of the recent history of Iran and Iraq together into one big giant scary ball of Allah-worshipping nuclear terrorism that begins with the letter 'I'). A true patriot indeed.

All is right with the world people - relax!

16. Transcript
Transcript via TPM...

Hannity asked what can be done to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons. In her response, Palin seemed to be confused between Iraq and Iran:

"We have allies who are as concerned about Ahmadinejad's actions as we are. We need to be working closer with France, and with Britain, and start, not just considering, but seriously taking steps towards the sanctions that we hear all about but we never see any actions towards, though.

"Cutting off the imports into Iraq, of their refined petroleum products. They're reliant -- 40 to 45 percent of their energy supply is reliant on those imports. We have some control over there.

"And some of the beneficial international monetary deals that Iraq benefits from -- we can start implementing some sanctions there and start really shaking things up, and telling Ahmadinejad, nobody is going to stand for this."

18. she said iraq clearly once when she meant Iran, didn't catch it and
you could image an honest mistake, BUT a few minutes later she said it AGAIN! That not an honest mistake, that's genuine ignorance and/or a dull mind showing through the rogue rouge. She's such a liability to the GOP I'd love to see MORE of her! have her on the sunday political talk shows- that would be a hoot!

20. Palin's so stupid, she thinks the Ottoman Empire is a chain of furniture stores.
God forbid if she was living in the 19th century when there was a Russia and a Prussia.

25. Does anybody remember the show "Married With Children?"
My favorite episode is when Bud needs to train Kelly for some intellectual reason. Al and Peg were amazed when Kelly actually learns some high faluting stuff. However, Bud soon shows them that there is just so much that Kelly can learn because at that moment Kelly is 'full' of facts. She shows this by forgetting her name on cue. Don't get me wrong, I believe Chrisitna Applegete is a highly intelligent person and that is more proof of her fine acting abilities.

Now, the reason for this post; Ms. Palin is being trained by very good people. Look at the material they have to work with and how far she has come in so little time. There is so much money behind this effort. She'll most likely run for the presidency in 3 years.

My only regret is that this show, X-files and The Simpsons are/were on faux.

29. Notice how during her answer-
the camera never cuts to Hannity's face- lest we see his involuntary reactions when finally facing the awesome river of stupid that flows from this woman. Talk about Shock n' Awe!

I'll bet even Fox viewers were catching that mess.
