Used to live in Pima County and worked with several people in law enforcement. This name rings a bell. Might have to dig a little on this one.

Not at all surprised re Sheriff Joe Brownshirt. The Feds are investigating him, aren't they? He and his thugs are probably getting close to being cornered, and that probably makes them more dangerous and/or stupid than usual. They have much to hide.

to be proud of. The Sheriff, judge,and the deputies who do not
come forward immediately and tell all they know, should be
jailed. We know the sheriff is a crooked psychopath but for a
judge to let this happen in her court room and initially
defend this felony and eventually call for an apology... it
reflects the contempt these people have for American law. The
judge should be fired as well as the rest. The two deputies
should be jailed, not for contempt, but for civil rights
violations and theft.

10. I don't know Arizona procedure, but in California, the judge is in pretty

much total control in his or her courtroom and so must it be. This sheriff could find himself in some very hot water very soon. The judge has a lot more authority than a mere sheriff.
