8. So most of the families of the people who died at

the attack on the Twin Towers want the trial here. They want to be able to confront the person who did this horrible thing. BUT since she doesn't want to , she thinks her wishes should be carried out.

I am so sorry for all the families of this tragedy. But they are not the only people in this country who have lost loved ones. And look at all the widows, husbands and sons and daughters of those who lost loved ones due to bush's invasion. It really makes me sad that one person thinks they are above the rest. I will bet anything she is a republican. Only a republican can be so crass, so unfeeling and not mindful of the majority of people's feelings.

Those of us on DU, who did not loose a loved one, also have the right to say where this trial is held. The attack was against us also. A lot of people forget that ALL America was attacked that day. And I for one want an open trial, where the cause and results of this attack are made public and we know the person (s) responsible are finally brought to justice.

she objected to one of those "liberal groups" like Human Rights Campaign being in the 9/11 families meeting with Attorney General Holder. I feel bad for her loss, and unlike the poster above I dont think she was being a bitch. But I thought that politicizing the death or her son was in bad taste.
