Voters under the age of 30 helped secure the White House for President Barack Obama. This is a generation that is feeling the effects of this recession like no other. In addition, they've gone at least 8 years without a solid ally in Washington, D.C., so when they cast their votes for Obama, they were hoping that their tides would turn. Mike Papantonio discusses what this generation is going through, and why they might abandon the Democratic Party if politicians don't start listening to their needs.

2. It about time!

As a boomer myself and a progressive all my life, I am glad this narcissistic bunch of spoiled brats are no longer relevant. They are the ones who have left the world in the mess it is in today, thanks to their greed and eager unforgivable corruption of our Constitutional rights, all done for a few bucks. There were a few other Boomers who tried to tell them, but ...

Now a lot of them all veclept because they lost it all after living off the backs of the poor and refusing to speak up about what was going on under their noses. Because they profited, they preferred to sit on their asses and watch it happen or ignored it while they sat around at their wine tasting parties and pushed their way around foreign coffee shops as if they owned the place ~ or worse eagerly helped to hurt their fellow Americans.

Never forget the Boomer motto: "greed is good ..." and remind them of it daily! If they try to pretend they were 'not that way" unless they can prove they were working to better life in the ghettos, speaking at rallies against the proxy wars in South America, standing with the poor, and/or trying to stop nuclear madness that is now WAY out of control, then they are old windbags and full of crap. Instead they ignored and/or ridiculed activists from their generation who did this all the time ~ and they had families to feed too, so this is NO excuse.

Then if you are younger, tell them as they cry in their "tea bagged" teacups, they DID have some people in their generation who tried to tell them that greed is *not* good, it is the base of corruption as they were told. Ask them how they tried to shut up their peers for trying to tell the truth with distortion and ridicule. Well now many of them are "one of us" and they act all surprised when they were warned ...

Really? While you were out there making all that money while the world was screaming in agony, where is all that cash now? Old Man/woman just take your goddamn tea bags, get out of the way and let the next generation in to fix the crap you left them and shut the hell UP.

I have worked as a volunteer for this newer generation, and I want to tell you, I am proud of you. Somehow you "got" what many of your relatives did not. If you get any flak just let tell them, they were warned and did not listen, and let them know when they point their finger to blame anyone but themselves, they are purposefully "forgetting" that three fingers point back to them.
