2. The boy is right in his interpretation and brave for what was a personal position and
maybe the other children can see it one day. Hope he has some supportive friends.

4. wow... a child who actually knows better than our politicians. Who knew?
It's a real cogent message that a child can articulate what politicians are chasing their tail over. I think at this point, he's presidential material.

6. Our politicians know better, but they are bought and owned.
At this point, he is presidential material. In 20 or 30 years when he runs, the republicans will be playing this video and all agree in unison that he is a communist. :) Imagine if Obama had a tape like this when he was 10, do you think the repugs would be saying how principled and well spoken he is? Nah, they would be saying he ain't a real merican, wouldn't even recite the pledge.

11. If politicians can be bought off and owned then they do not know better...
These very same politicians, blue dog democrats and republicans have great health insurance... but then they talk about how much the bill costs for us to have the same kind. They can't know better. If they know better then they will do better. This kid, no matter what he will be labeled withstood the pressure and still spoke his mind. Many of our politicians talk a good game. Then are slow to act. This kid shows us something. Talk is cheap. He stood up and sat down.

14. Criminals know better
A bank robber knows better, but he still may rob a bank. Why? Because he can get a lot of money and thinks he can get away with his crime. These politicians that have great health insurance but tell us it is too expensive do not tell it to us because they really believe it is too expensive. They know that it would make the lives of millions of people better and for many of them it would make the lives of the majority of people in their own states better. But they also know that if they took that position that they would lose millions of dollars by the insurance companies to help them get re-elected. Their positions are not based on whether they know what they are doing is wrong. They do. But they do it anyway.

7. Yes, this kid is awesome!
He must be taking a lot of abuse in school. This kid has some pretty big cojones! At that age, standing up to teachers and classmates is about as hard as it gets. I even like the way he told his teacher to "jump off of a bridge"....other kids his age would be using curse words.

10. I'm very impressed. All we need now is for O'Reilly
to call him a "pinhead" and we can consider him as having arrived!

I'm an old man and I certainly hope that when he's my age, he can look back at how different (better) the world is compared to when he was a boy.

12. Well it's about time!
It's about time the kids in this country started realizing and representing their beliefs. Good for him.
