NOTE: For those viewers looking for rebuttals to HowTheWorldWorks' attacks on me, see http://liberalviewer.com/HTWW/

Also, to read about some partisan Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown notices that actually did come from Fox NEWS (including the ones that got the News1News channel suspended) this week, see http://rawstory.com/2009/11/fox-shuts-liberal-bloggers/

Meanwhile, I got a DMCA takedown notice from Fox this week as well, but my takedown notice came from Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, filed against my video titled "Fox News Worried Its Viewers Can't Tell a Cartoon from News?" that includes a 44 second clip of "The Simpsons." I responded to that accusation of copyright infringement with a DMCA counternotice, claiming FAIR USE, as I explain in this video.

You can see my main LiberalViewer webpage at http://liberalviewer.com

You can see a copy of the DMCA takedown notice I got from Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation at http://www.liberalviewer.com/YouTubeDocs/FoxTakedown.html

You can see a copy of the DMCA counternotice with which I responded to Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation at http://www.liberalviewer.com/Counternotices/Counternotice6.htm

You can see a copy of the Yale University video of a lecture by Michael Fricklas, General Counsel of Viacom, titled "Copyrights, Markets, and Free Speech: Should We Be Free Not To Be Free" uploaded to the YaleUniversity channel on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVvC7bj26aU

also include in this video an image of my YouTube's account's "Content ID" page

On Wednesday, YouTube shut down the popular News1News channel, which featured news clips that many progressive bloggers and news sites would add to their stories. On the rare occasion, Raw Story also embedded News1News clips in stories having to do with media coverage. The channel provided clips from all news networks, but often focused on Fox's controversial commentators.

The decision to shut down News1News came after Fox News issued 150 take-down notices to the channel, which they are entitled to do under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, reports Adrian Chen at Gawker. YouTube's policy is to shut down any accounts that receive three or more take-down notices, so News1News was immediately pulled offline.

But Fox News' move appears to be limited to News1News, while other YouTube channels -- those viewed as having conservative leanings -- remain untouched. Chen points out that the Glenn Beck Daily Clips channel continues to operate, although it features 614 clips, as of last count, of Glenn Beck's Fox show. The Conservative Nation channel, with close to 200 clips, is also still online.

1. they want to lie and not be accountable for their lies
the innertubes should be flooded with their videos..what if a blogger did a "bad" recording of one of their lies? You include in the video the edges of the tv, mute the sound a little bit, or distort the image..?

Is it ok to point out through a video that a "news" (truth) organization has a pattern of outright lying? If they put the video out on outlet for mass public consumption, then to show that faux is lying, why couldn't that point be protected speech? I mean, it's out there, they put it out there as truth, then they get to take what they put out for free back, no matter how much they lie.

when a person puts out a video on youtube, it's gone. When faux puts its lies out for mass public viewing, it's still theirs. So murdoch and ailes own reality.
