Summary: Cenk talks to former Marine Corps Captain Matthew Hoh about why he resigned, what we've been doing wrong in Afghanistan and what we should be doing. Hoh makes an awesome analogy that helps explain why building infrastructure (better than dropping bombs, yes) won't change hearts and minds. Basically he equates it to a red state/blue state thing where we imagine changing our position on say abortion just because a particular president does a good job building roads, schools, hospitals, etc. Obviously that would never happen. (BTW, if someone has time to do a transcript of this interview (or any interview on TYT Interviews), please email tytjobs@gmail.com. 2. Very excellent interview
Just what exactly would a 'win' entail? Nobody has a clear picture.

5. Yeah, it's pretty substantive.
Ironically that means less views but oh well.

6. Cenk asked some good questions

but the guy who was answering them tries to make himself sound like an expert when his experience (5 months), knowledge (based on reading "a few books") and personal opinion that he admits is formed by personal loss doesn't really swing me.

I don't mean to hijack your thread but seeing as Amanpour isn't on YouTube I thought this would be an appropriate place to bring in the counter argument from actual experts.
