After announcing she would be stepping down as White House Communications Director, Anita Dunn talked to Albert Hunt about the White House's war with Fox News, and whether or not she was behind the war. "I am not one to be going rogue, to use a popular phrase," she said, actually relying on the popular Sarah Palin phrase twice in the interview. She also refers to "an opinion show using edited footage" (Hannity) and the show that exposed the practice (The Daily Show). "Comedy Central... That's where you're getting fact-checking investigative journalism these days, folks."
Dunn is also asked to respond to comments by "well known, above the fray analyst" from Fox, Karl Rove, that the Obama administration as "mastered the Chicago way of politics." Dunn, tempted to say, "I am rubber, you are glue," explains that Obama has "really gone to extraordinary lengths to reach out to people who don't agree with him."
