2. The more her name is mentioned - the more she is in the public eye
and recognizable as a viable candidate for a public office. Guess which one. Keep it up, folks!!! You are creating a President Palin.

If an election was stolen once or twice, it can happnen, again

3. She can't possibly get elected
She's too goofy. The more the GOP flocks around her, the better off we are.

8. I really think she can. A lot will depend on the marketing. There are a LOT of
highly educated, conservative women in my area that absolutely love her. And when her faults are pointed out, they rail against the media and na-sayers.
It's very sad.....but true.

10. 10 years ago I would have agreed with you. The 2000 & '04 elections changed my thinking.

13. That's what I keep
warning people about, but they don't listen. If 8 years of Bush won't convince them, not a damn thing will.

15. Depends on how effectively President Obama...
...cleans up George W. Bush's mess over the next few years.

I'm not talking about the media high-fiving Wall Street every time they see the tiniest of gains. I'm talking about Mr. and Mrs. Middle America thinking, feeling, believing that things are better.

We're going to close out 2009 with the economy in the crapper, but the GOOD news is that once the media starts telling the public that things are better, and they continue to tell them on a consistent basis, they'll release the death grip they currently have on their wallets and things WILL turn around.

If we're still in Iraq and Afghanistan...if there are still six job seekers for every open position...the GOP will lean hard on "image over substance," just like they did with Palin...maybe with someone new, maybe with Palin herself.

The best way to keep Sarah Palin and anyone like her out of the Oval Office is to repair Bush's damage.

That sucks, I know, and it's nowhere near "fair," but I believe one of the key traits that got President Obama elected was knowing EXACTLY what he was stepping into.

:patriot:

6. Like it or not - Palin is a damn good looking woman and that counts
in today's American society. She does catch and apparently holds our attention. Otherwise, she would not be major news everyday.

in their insistence that despite her having proven herself to be a loser, a failure, a quitter, a liar, and an intellectual featherweight, she's still newsworthy.

16. There are a lot of stupid people in America...
The other day there was a segment on some news show on TV of a reporter on the street asking people 'Who is the Vice-President of the USA?" and there were MANY that did NOT know.
America IS stupid enough to vote for someone like a 'Palin' they did it twice with Bush ;(
