the best way to realign over reach of power is a more progressive congress. Let alone an over reaching Stupak. Sure throwing in the towel is one option, but in the 90s all that got us was a more Republican leaning Bill Clinton he had no choice or appear he couldn't do anything. It's just a long term battle to bring the Congress slowly but steady back to the people. And in fairness to the President he's up against a lot of forces he's handling with a lot of care for his own good.
