I don't like talking about the economy, but sometimes the contradictory, ironic, and ignorant whining about the economy drives me to.

Because if we look at periods in this country where the middle class thrived like the 50's & 60's-we see so many of the things that we are supposed to fear, or loathe in the present day: high taxes for the rich, unions, and regulation.

So instead, people would rather talk about the federal reserve, the gold standard, and other things that the greedy ass billionaires of today would have no trouble adjusting to.

I don't understand how you can bitch about bail-outs, unemployment, and the economy as a whole while fearing taxes, regulation, and unions.

It's like fearing the H1N1 virus while bitching about vaccines.

You take up so much room in your ideology bitching about things and fearing things, that you leave no room for logical solutions-so you end up coming up with stupid solutions that don't address the real problems!
