Craig Murray is the former UK ambassador to Uzbekistan who lost his job after complaining to his superiors about the horrendous torture techniques used by the Uzbek regime (a US/NATO ally in the "war on terror") to obtain confessions of involvement in terrorism from suspects held in the Uzbek gulags. Some of the victims of the Uzbek torturers were intentionally sent to Uzbekistan by the CIA under the rendition program. They were sent knowing that they would be tortured by a regime that has been known to boil people alive and to tortures children in front of their parents to extract confessions.

In this video Murray explains his shock at the apparent lack of interest by the British Foreign Office at the news that Uzbekistan was using torture to interrogate suspects in the "war on terror" and passing this "intelligence" onto the CIA who in turn passed it on to MI6. Murray was stunned at how readily this "intelligence" was accepted by the US and British governments, apparently with no questions asked as to its validity or as to how it was obtained. He also repeats and enlarges upon a claim he made in a newspaper article he wrote several years ago that Karzai's ministers were extensively engaged in the illegal drug trade. In this video he charges that Karzai himself is also reaping profits from the drug trade.
