If the 2006 and 2008 elections were not mandates JUST WHAT IN THE FUCK WERE THEY? Democrats would actually do better if they "ran to the left". We would garner more support if we pulled the troops from Iraq and Afghanistan right now. We would do better if we had enacted a heavy handed "Government takeover of health care". who believe right wing concern troll sites like Politico will get what they deserve. Abandoning the people who put you in office is a bad political move. Those who voted Publican will continue to vote party line as they are more a cult than a political party.
When will Obama and the rest of the Democratic leadership realize that reaching across the aisle usually results with a bloody stump. Publicans really want a reach around.
