2. Okay, Okay, so what happens now?
This sounds so awesome! Pardon me if this is a stupid question, but does this make it official? What are the next steps?

3. The next steps
This bill is supposed to be taken over to the Senate on Monday and formally announced to them (then the House will adjourn for the rest of next week). Meanwhile the Senate has to finish their final version by merging their 2 Committee versions. Then they will go through their debate process, which is where the cloture vote comes into play. Then if they can stop further debate and do an up or down, whatever version manages to pass will then be sent to a joint committee to be merged with the House bill. THEN the final "single" bill will be brought back to the House and debated and the Senate will do the same. Then once both pass that single version and the Pres. signs, that's it.

Still much work to do.

4. The Senate has to vote. Then it goes to conference committee
where they iron out differences. The final bill may or may not look like the bill that passed.

Then President Obama signs it.

5. They need to remove the provision that requires
the average joe to buy health insurance. That part I have a problem with. Thats seems to be another giv-a-way to the same corporate insurance bastards who have been screwing us all this time. For driving a car, I can understand. There are too many morons driving without insurance. But to be required to buy health insurance is an utter slap in the face.

One step down, and 5 to go.
