More like Mel TWatt if you ask me.

HR 1207 has 311 cosponsors, including progressive heroes like Alan Grayson, Marcy Kaptur, Dennis Kucinich, and Lynn Woolsey.

Leave it to Fed Whore Mel TWatt to kill it!

3. No matter what you think of Ron Paul, his insight into the money system is correct.
And what Watt did points once out, AGAIN, that there is little difference between the 2 parties.

4. To be fair to Ron Paul, this is one of the two issues he is remotely on the right side of things
even if it may be for the wrong reasons.

5. Ron Paul has one fact wrong
He slipped it in the conversation at least once. Regulation was not a cause of the financial meltdown, deregulation was. Transparency and regulation are needed, not just one or the other.

7. As I said over and over, Ron Paul is correct in a couple of issues...
but usually by the wrong reasons. That is why I have always been very weary of him, in my book being right for the wrong reason... technically still counts as being wrong.

10. Why do the politicians insist on perpetrating the fraud?
Because the country was sold long ago on the idea that the measure of progress and prosperity is gross domestic or national product as measured by how much money exchanges hands and how often.

Thus, to show progress and prosperity, i.e., success as a nation, we need to show lots of transactions in which money changes hands.

We do not measure our prosperity by how much of their homes American families own or how many days off a year a working man can take. We measure it only in terms of exchanges of money. So, we are told we are more "prosperous" but actually, we our prosperity is an illusion.

Stability in families, communities and society is not valued in the official GDP or GNP numbers. So we are told that "productivity" goes up while our quality of life goes down.
