I don't know if anyone watched Larry King last night but the exchange at 3:00 made me laugh for minutes. The prick on the right seeking to make the shooter into an Islamic terrorist looked like the biggest fool in the world.

1. I think people are getting it now that they milk every opportunity for fear and political advantage.

The contrast of a more pragmatic leader shows even more how they work to manipulate and scare people more than is necessary. Whatever the issue with the military doctor it was an anomaly in this instance of a doctor losing control and likely not part of a wider organization. It's a sad situation but definitely not one for more unneeded fear by the the fear mongers.

3. That JAG was such a jagoff (pun intended) at some point went on a condescending tirade
against the lady, who was a combat POW by the way. Typical rear echelon motherf*cker attitude: running his mouth from the safety of the studio, but all too much of a coward to be in the middle of an actual combat.

And why is Dr. Phil still around? Just what we need a 3rd rate psychologist from a 5th rate school...

2. I saw the whole show yesterday and I'm not sure if it's in this clip (don't want to watch it again)
But Blitzer outright called the shooter a "Palestinian" , he even double checked it with his reporter just to emphasize the implication.

6. its absured
Fool you are the one who is absurd. What get me is Larry King asked old boy why would he say something like that about someone. Meaning because of his last name he could possibly be of a terroristic nature. I'll tell you why he said it because he is a racist at heart. In case he doesn't know we are trying to move beyond judging people based on ethnic origins but on their actions in how they treat others. Sounds like some more Republican lets put everybody in a category instead of them being human. I don't know if i heard all the horror stories of war, and somebody was going to drop my ass in a hot zone would i be willing to go just because i signed my name. I don't know, that is why i think our soldiers deserve more than medals for the honest and heroic work that they do. And yes there are bad apples everywhere.Hell look at congress. Maybe if they had their s--t together we would not be talking about this story.

8. Sad to see CNN banning Stephanie Miller, but allowing Dr. Phil and his degree in bullshitology.
I won't even watch the clip, as I know I can likely offer my comment in context without wasting those few precious minutes on this crap.

My point? Just because "Hassan" appears to be his middle name doesn't give any indication that his actions pose an Islamic threat to American sovereignty. Yet, what are the odds that this is just one of many "panels" to debate the threats to America without acknowledging the right-wing militias, the unreasonable teabaggers, or the irrefutable evidence of Christian-based military personnel who feed on the current trend of anti-Islam/ anti-Atheist rhetoric? Odds are, once again... many to none.

11. Hassan had a law degree, Mr. Jag...
in addition to his MD. That's how badly he wanted to leave the service.
