1. Good for him. All these horrific wars are crimes and need to

stop. It is heart-breaking to see the photos of these beautiful, innocent children from Gaza, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Israel and elsewhere and to hear the mindless excuses for why they had to die.

No doubt, in this upside-down world we live in, he will be trashed for doing the unthinkable, showing the grotesque results of the horrors of war. Look how outraged we are here when one child is murdered, and rightly so. But this country ignores the mass murder in Iraq and elsewhere in an incredible display of willful blindness.

K&R for a Congressman who has the guts to show the horrors of war, although why it should take guts is a mystery to me.

4. I am so proud of my Congressman Brian Baird

I did not agree with him on supporting "the surge" but he is a person of great integrity who stands up for what he believes in. He's always willing to take the heat for his decisions.

I am so very disappointed in the rest of our Congess for not even being willing to have hearings on the Goldstone report.

5. I have read all of the excuses, all of the attacks.

"Goldstone is this" and "The report doesn't say that" and "The resolution this" and "His staffers that". What I have NOT read anywhere - ANYWHERE - is that anything in that man's report is a LIE. Not even ONCE have I read anybody's words that claim the report makes something up, that it contains falsehood, that is in any way UNtrue.

That is what folks miss here. Goldstone's report reveals Truth. It repeats and extends what has been written by independent NGO's like Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch and the Red Cross/Red Crescent about these war crimes. Until somebody can show me the LIES in Goldstone's report, I remain convinced of its inherent Truth and honesty.

7. I saw an interview with Goldstone on Bill Moyers' show and I

have rarely been more impressed with anyone that I can recall. He is truly a man of integrity and I would trust his word over anyone of those who are criticizing him.

In fact, any attempt by anyone to try to discredit this man, will only backfire on those who are doing it. He is very impressive, and the truth is, war-mongers and their supporters are as they have always been throughout history, criminals who deserve nothing but condemnation. No matter what country they are from.
