1. There is no such thing as a Christian Republican.
Nothing in Christ's teachings allow for the possibility of putting fiscal concerns over basic human compassion. Now, I realize there are plenty of Conservatives who *claim* to be Christian, but that's another story.

3. I tell everyone the same thing ...and I do it at church to push it in their faces ...
...and I am not totally alone there with my stand on the subject.

the first cause is peace, the next compassion and generosity. There is nothing in their actioins that says they're going to any kind of heaven unless of course they discover liberalism. :)

4. Wait a minute, no one ever said that being a Christian meant being "Christ-like".

5. There is a huge difference between a real believer and a christian.
You will find that a real believer will be out feeding the homeless and visiting people in rest homes and caring for orphans.

6. I see that argument all the time.
Real believers of a faith use it to explain away the false believers that support GLBT causes, or as I like to call them "Civil Rights." It's not a difference between true belief or lip service, it's a difference between being an asshole or being a decent person. I'm guessing you're a decent person who happens to be of a particular faith.

7. A real believer wouldn't condemn anyone ...period.
