Alan Grayson interviewed by Joy Behar. As well as explaining why the GOP are disintegrating, he also says that that the voter turnout in Virginia was down by half compared to last year and Democrats need to learn from this and activate our vote.

Additionally, in answer to whether people were voting against Obama or not, he replies that a majority of Americans voted Democrats into power "because they wanted change and they need to see more of it, we need to deliver!"

3. Until I smell...
...the stench of the maggot-infested, rotting corpse of the GOP, I will consider them just as dangerous as before. It's just like in a horror film. The crazy killer gets one in the head and the victim runs away, thinking he/she is in safety. That's when the killer jumps out from behind and finishes off the victim.

The GOP won't stop until its head is crushed and we really need more like Grayson.

6. Good Point, But Also...
I agree with you--the Republican Party is dangerous to progressive causes until it completely falls apart. But I suspect that there will still be Republican fragments alive and in power in some states even after the national Republican Party follows the Whigs into oblivion.

I'm from Texas, I can imagine a Texas Republican Party still alive and kicking in 2020 even if the national GOP disintegrates in 2016.

the overwhelming majority of both parties are career politicians who readily sell their votes to the highest wealthy bidder.

That said, I'll never vote for someone from a party that adores people like Limbaugh and Beck. Republicans seem to have a good deal of racists in their base and in addition they often worship the very robber barons that bring financial ruin upon them.
