I love the dejection at Fox news when Ohio goes to Obama.
What a wonderful night that was, one night ago.

1. Thanks for posting this
What a great compilation of clips from that night! I remember exactly where I was that night - a bar in Portland OR - and it was wild. I texted my friend at exactly that moment CNN called it: "holy shit".

3. I was in a car driving back to HQ in Annapolis, MD when they announced PA went to Obama
Edited on Tue Nov-03-09 10:55 PM by charlie and algernon
At that point I breathed a huge sigh of relief. With Pennsylvania going that early, I knew we had won. The Obama HQ doubled as eventual congressman Kratovil's HQ. It was still way too close to call for Kratovil, so I was running back and forth from Kratovil's rooms in the HQ to the common room where a TV was showing election coverage. As soon as they called Ohio for Obama, a bunch of us ran to the Obama victory party in Annapolis.

2. Ah, yes. I'll never forget it. We were jumping, crying, hugging. We'd worked so hard, like so
many others. Thanks for the post!

4. the Annapolis, MD party was insane
everyone counted down the last 10 seconds to 11pm when the West Coast states' polls closed. As soon as they announced he won, the sound was deafening.
