Really strange having debates with my brother who went from 2004 handshaking with Howard Dean to being a noodle for the Right wing. All he listens to is Fox. Albeit I do enjoy a good debate... but some is just annoying. From Obama being the most corrupt president in history. (gee took 10 months do to that??) To the Hate Crimes bill against gays ... a massive effort to shut every Christian music channel down. O_O Do'h. Fox claims victims all the time. Dads listened to Fox since it came out. My brother. Disappointed. I'm a good debater, but hard to have a good debate if some idiot (my brother) says he's open minded... he only listens to fox.. o_O Kinda different from my Open Minded. I watch both sides. although beck is hard to stand, at least I have DU to get to the shit.

*every* person I've talked to about health care reform who doesn't want any change feels that way because they get their talking points from idiots like Beck, not because they understand the bills.

This Summer at our State Fair I had a conversation with a woman who was *convinced* Death Panels were on page 12 of the current bill. I had looked at it, so I knew the first pages were mostly definitions and told her so. She didn't like having her reality shown up as false, but she clearly had not read the bill.

Teabaggers are unwilling to pay the price of anything: Our wars, debt, and even programs they use.
