1. It's a good idea, but...

don't send dirty diapers or anything like plate scrapings. The USPS won't like it, and it could actually be illegal.

Instead send other garbage that doesn't smell or pose any possible health risk. Use USPS Flat Rate boxes and you can send up to 70 lb. for "a low flat rate. If it fits, it ships."

Just don't send anything liquid or hazardous.
