5. question:
Even if the public option is added to the bill, how does that help the majority of americans who have private health insurance thru thier employers?
Even those with private insurance will be near/at bankruptcy if they ever get really sick. Deductibles and co-pays are the reasons why the majority of people go bankrupt.
the study from harvard shows that over 50+% of bankruptcys come from medical bills, and THE MAJORITY OF THOSE PEOPLE HAVE/HAD PRIVATE INSURANCE.
So again i ask, what good will this bill do for the big problem? (not to say it won't be better than the horrible system we have now)

Will everyone be eligible for the public option if thier current private insurance has huge co-pays for surgerys/procedures/test/medications?????
How big are the co-pays/deductibles for the public option?

Why does america insist on trying to make a broken system work?
PRIVATE INSURANCE IS THE PROBLEM HERE!!!
IT MUST BE TREATED LIKE A COLD blooded MURDERER. you cannot reason with it, make it better, or change its nature.
THE ONLY SOLUTION IS TO REMOVE IT AND MAKE SURE IT CAN NEVER OPERATE/VICTIMIZE PEOPLE AGAIN.

We know what the solution is here.
Its COMPREHENSIVE 100% SINGLE PAYER UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE FOR ALL CITIZENS/TAXPAYERS.

This is the only real solution here.
not public options, co-ops, exchanges, etc.etc.etc.

The rest of the world and all the other industrialized civil societys have given us a great example to follow.
and the overall health and happiness of thier people is a testament to how great it works.

Profit has no place in human life/health.

-end rant

6. The countries that have universal health care
have taken different paths to get there.

Think we will get to where you and I want to be without a bloody struggle. Are you willing to be arrested for civil disobedience? Have you found some friends who will join you?

This isn't going to happen just because we willed it or it is right.

9. Sadly, we should ALL be willing
to be arrested for "civil disobedience." Non
violent protests are a great tradition and not illegal
according to the constitution. Unfortunately, we have fallen
victim to a police state, where any type of non conformity is
a possible breach of law. Not only does this police state
arrest innocent citizens, it also terrorizes them. It's as if
our policemen were trained at the S.O.A. There are some really
good police officers, too bad, by design, they are becoming
more scarce daily. Civil Disobedience (non violent) is a good
thing. IMO

12. I totally agree and I beleive most Americans would go for this if they knew the truth.
When i talk one on one with people in my town (conservative or liberal) they all believe that single payer is the only way to make this afordable for everyone. You have to debrief a few about the lies on Fox news first to get them to understand.

So, I tune in to him from time to time.

10. Sanchez
has really surprised me too. I used to see him as a
"straight up, MSM talking head" and then he became
substantive.

7. I called Senator Cantwell's office repeatedly and requested she
get out there on Progressive friendly media and talk about health care.

Whoever else was pressuring her to speak up, thanks.

I realize she has some corporation-friendly issues but she stepped us for us on the public option and for that I have called her offices to thank her.

congress we'd like to see, it will get better. Single payer will be a reality, if we have dogged determination. The days of Baucus and corporate influence are coming to an end because the people are slowly waking up. Single payer will get slammed on the table one way or another, it's inevitable. Go back start again single payer now!
