1. bingo! every mistake and delay works to their advantage

how often do they pay out too much? not too often i can assure you.

it costs them NOTHING to delay, deny, delay, deny, and delay some more. eventually they pay, after collecting interest on your money for months. better yet, there's a chance you may forget, give up, or die in the meanwhile and your heirs may not even know to keep pushing.

AT A MINIMUM, all insurance claims should be due and payable from the time of the incident (the car accident, the fire, the medical procedure, whatever) AND EARN MARKET INTEREST FROM THAT POINT. that would at least remove the delay incentive the insurance companies have. better yet would be a PENALTY for failure to pay within a certain period of time.


of course, THAT will never happen!
