Chase bank caught in a lie (mortgage modification process)

This is a little dull on the video end of things, but this fellow has been recording his arduous process in attempting a mortgage loan modification with Chase bank. This conversation apparently is an attempt at a follow-up call two weeks after he was supposed to receive his loan modification packet from the bank.

The "lie" I'm a little confused about, but it's interesting from a run-around point of view.

1. Chase sucks

A friend is doing the same thing. Calls one dept and is told they didn't receive documents she sent. Lady says they are not on computer. Calls a different dept and the guy says he has just brought up the same docs on his computer. She has sent the same ones several times and they still ask for them again and again. Gets letter a few days ago saying they are foreclosing in 30 days. Calls again and told to ignore letter, just send more copies of same docs. Is there anyone in the Federal Government to complain to? She is working on getting into the "Obama Plan". Anyone that bitches about government bureaucracy, tell them to try Chase Bank.

3. Chase is one of the worst.

I had a similar experience when they paid my real estate taxes to some stranger's property. Six months of the same runaround and having to explain myself every fucking time I called as if it was the first time I called. Getting a supervisor was no help because you could never get a return number to call them back - their phone numbers are state secrets. Calling the "accounting department" who had a copy of the check I needed for the refund was forbidden. No one can take outside calls.

Me to the "supervisor": Do you have children? Yes? Are they in school? Yes? What number would the school call if you kid fell and broke his arm?

They swore to god they would fedex a copy of a check to me. They went so far to give me BOGUS tracking numbers. After some time it became comical. I felt like I was calling a bunch of sadists getting their rocks off torturing people. I felt like I was dealing with the French "Taunters" from Holy Grail .... "I told him we've already got one" *snicker snicker*

Tip: The way I finally received satisfaction was to call their investor relations hotline in New York. I got a hold of some "V.P. Of Resolution" - whatever the fuck THAT is but she must take her title seriously because she "resolved" it for me in a couple days.

All I needed was a copy of a fucking check. Six months.

2. GDammit people. Chase isn't your friend...

EVERYTHING they ask you is TO YOUR LEGAL DETRIMENT, you fools
even if you think its harmless.


this idiot on the vid has THREE TIMES worsened his position,
which now may have become practically untenable.
you can't fix this with talk or phone calls.
say nothing and get some help.
