This is getting scary. The wingnuts are out, amping the violent rhetoric. It needs to stop.

16. Absolutely. I still can't believe that one.
I can't see how anyone could ever be impeached now. All they have to say is "well, I'm not as bad as Bush".

2. Call every Republican
who promotes this hatred. I called Demint's office today & let them know that it makes my stomach turn that a US Senator could speak at a tea party where such violent overtones are tolerated. Don't yell, don't scream, let them know in a calm tone that you know what they are is un-American. Call Joe Wilson if you haven't already, call Grassley, call McConnell. Ask your (if you have any) Republican Reps or Senators to denounce this lunacy. Enough is Enough!

4. What we need to do more is contact Democratic Representative our side and inspire them to stay stron

That it will all get better in the end as long as they are doing the right thing. They're generally good folks, and if they do what's right this will all come together in the end. The Civil rights movement marched on through the hard times and the rain, if anyone is in the Democratic party we all have an affinity to that movement now and must keep marching through adversity. What they are really seeing now is the consequences of deregulation. The thing is it's not just dangerous for our side it is for Republicans too but they find out the even harder way than us, if corporations ever get total control. So hopefully the supreme court as wild as some of their rulings have been recently see the sense in this as handing government over to big business would make them surplus to requirements eventually.

Love keeps us safe so if they ever feel overwhelmed hopefully they focus on that emotion, but whatever they do do not become fearful. I mean to confirm it whenever you are in a loving environment there is a sense of security well it's basic as that. This will pass it might last a while but it'll pass as did the turmoil of the civil rights movement so will this. Let the teabaggers name calling bounce off, it's what good folks believe of themselves that matters that's the only voice they must listen to. Just constantly remind themselves their good and they're doing the right thing(well as long as it's a sound public option that is). Just the main message don't let the blanks grind you down.

5. Okay why don't we give the repugs what they want private health care
that they have to pay for and we can even give them a part of the US (let them succeed). Their ways are totally un american so let them start their own country. That would be interesting.

9. I don't always agree with Nancy Pelosi, but the fact that she is recalling that horrible
day in 1978 when Mayor Moscone and Harvey Milk were killed in their offices brings some much needed attention to the right wing's hate rhetoric and the subtle and not so subtle calls to violence.

I posted this in another thread about Pelosi's statement--for those of us who lived in the San Francisco area in the late 70's--I NEVER EVER want to experience that sort of shock again. And the scary thing about Moscone and Milk is that they were murdered by a fellow politician.

10. Something has scared Nancy,
Maybe there were some serious threats directed towards her. Either way, we all should be concerned.

12. Pelosi, as well as the White House, get detailed reports from the FBI,
the Secret Service and CIA on a regular basis. I think you may be right. I think we all have seen the dramatic raise in racist, violent, and scary rhetoric coming coming from right-wing this summer. This is worrisome.

13. Pelosi need to stop her Dam crying!!!!!

and start taking on those racist hatemongers! Democrats act like wimps at time. We have total control of government, and she crying like a little baby. The media is putting a face on the Republican party, and just like last election cycle, American people didn't like it. Thank God for President Carter. We need a fighter to take on Fox (Propaganda) News, Lou (The sky is Falling) Dobbs, Glenn (Lonesome Rhodes) Beck, Lard-ass Limbaugh, Mad-Man Orielly and Wimpy (No waterboard for me) Hannity. Pelosi need to act like John Belushi in "Animal House", when they took on the Republican elites and spanked their asses. Violence will be met with Violence! I'm a peaceful man by nature, but I will not be bullied by a bunch of tea party racists. Com'on Pelosi, grow a pair! :kick:

15. Stop Crying!!!!!
After the Crying, she still has to be the Leader of a Party. Crying for me is not gonna do it. Fuck! The racist Republicans! Do the work of the people, or get the hell out the way! If she's afraid of dying, well let me tell you what Martin Luther King stated "Longevity has it place".

17. I agree with her on this. Something has to be done to
put all of this in perspective. In a split second, the situation in this country could change and put us back 40 years.

18. The Govt knows that they are losing control over us....
They need to ramp up the racial and political violence in order to keep us divided and quarreling, so that we do not question what is really going on.

They know that the American people no longer believe them on Health Care, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, the Economy, or the War on Drugs.

The Jig is up. The show is over. The emperor not only has no clothes.. he is a proven liar.

20. That sounds like an argument more for the Bush administration.
I agree with you for the most part. But I don't believe the Obama Administration has an interest in ramping up racial and political violence to their own detriment.
