instead of the newspaper announcement? And make the point that Obama HAS provided his official birth certificate?
Whatever the birthers may say, whatever document that Hawaii considers the official birth certificate IS the official birth certificate, despite all their wishes to the contrary.
That was about the lamest exchange that I've seen ... and one of the most lukewarm defenses.
It doesn't surprise me that DeLay is a birther ... what does surprise me is that he is still at large ... and now apparently about to become a TV celebrity. But it is apparently only Repubs who get free passes for their illegal actions.
I do agree with Chris on this ... someone as wacky and "bent" as DeLay could only be "home-grown" ... and that is a terrible indictment on the state of education and critical thinking in America.

It's funny how he always looked as if he pitied him when Delay asked whether a newspaper is an official document and Mathews answered "No, it's just common sense we are talking about here".

The laugh at the beginning was good, too. He just couldn't believe and after that, it was a laughing matter. It's actually a good reply to these idiots.
