...rocking the boat with the insurance and pharma companies, and other general "pro-business" intrests.

They want the merit badge they can pin to their sash and show off, but doing that for real would piss off their real constituents, so we get this weak-kneed kabuki dance.

They're trying to show the base that they tried, but they just had to pass the DLC/sell-out version of the bill.

I havnt seen many people advocate anarchy, but mostly a distrust in the government to do this correctly.

Personally i dont think this healthcare overhaul is going to do what its intended to do based on what ive read in the bill.

that. But if you call them weak again - well, then they'll have to agree. K&R.

(Of course this doesn't apply to the Democrats with a spine. Of which there are many - just not enough)
