It is an ignorant remark that was proved false years ago. Even the oil companies know better than to make that claim.

I guess what we're saying is, people complain that we are buying and importing from the middle east oil and Gas. And then they find out we have it all right here, we don't have to do that. If the argument is, that we don't want to use oil and gas because it pollutes. Which it doesn't! Then why are we willing to import it from Saudi Arabia and the middle east?

..he's confusing a couple of separate issues!! And I don't know where he got the idea that oil consumption does not create pollution!!

And secondly, where is the oil & gas we have here? I know there is some oil in this country but not enough to fuel everyone's cars & homes.

I live in Tulsa where we used to be known as the oil capital of the world but we haven't produced much oil in many, many years! And btw, Inhofe used to be our Mayor at one time....but then again that was before he began representing the lunatic fringe!

I just sent him a message earlier today where I told him, the next time he gets the urge to open his mouth, don't!!!
