1. TRANSCRIPT

The Democrats are going to fight back. One of them is President Obama apparently, I'm going ot go to clip no.7, at a press conference because he's got a bit of fight in him here...
*clip starts*

President Obama: I understand how easy it is for everyone here to become consumed in the game of politics. TO turn every issue into a tally of, who's up and who's down. I've that one Republican strategist told his party, that 'even if they might want to compromise, it's better strategy to go for the kill.' Another Republican senator said that defeating healthcare, is about 'breaking me.' So, let me be clear, this isn't about me. I have great health insurance, and so does every member of congress. This debate is about the letters I read as I sit in the Oval Office, everyday, and the stories I hear at townhall meetings. This is about the woman in Colorado, who paid $700 a month to her insurance company, only to find out they wouldn't pay a dime for her caner treatment. Who had to use up her retirement funds to pay for medical treatment. That is about the middle class graduate, from Maryland. Who's health insurance expired when he changed jobs and woke up from the emergency surgery that he required, with $10,000 worth of debt. This is about every family, every business and every taxpayer that is shouldering the burden. With a problem that Washington has failed, to solve, for decades. This debate is not a game, for these Americans. And they can't afford to wait any longer for reform. They're counting on us to get this done, and they're looking to us for leadership. And we can't let them down. We'll pass reform that lowers costs, promotes coverage that every American can count on, and we'll do it this year. *end of clip*

What he said was excellent. We've got to stop this, we've got to really solve this for the American people. But the guy says it in such a calm way, that is sounds a little boring, to be honest with you. BUT he's definitely saying the right thing! In fact here's a funny criticism, from Chuck Todd and various others, write this for MSNBC. On one of their parts of their website. They criticize Obama for knowing, too much, about his own program and about healthcare. They say, "the dry healthcare symposium--," which I can live with if they said that, but they continue to say, "Question, is there a point where a President knows too much about an issue?" Come on are you really going to criticize him on, knowing too much about an issue ? Man, they really got use to * too much. That is how a President is supposed to be. lol. I mean! This guy can't win! If he talks to little about healthcare, they say doesn't say enough about it. If talks too much about it, then they say he knows to much, about it.lol. If I was Obama I'd use, that. The press says I know too much, about healthcare! Well that's good you should. Now finally, we've got one more guy fighting back. Congressman Weiner, Democrat and he's going to lay into the insurance companies, I like this a lot.

*start of clip*

CW: Name a single thing an insurance company does, to make anyone healthier, and to save anyone money? Health insurance companies operate like they are supposed to, they're businesses... They operate to make profits. How do you make profit? By giving away as little as and collecting as much! It's the opposite, of the imperative we have, as representatives of, the people. But this is so utterly predictable, because you didn't vote for Medicare! Your party didn't vote for social security! The GOP had control of the house, the senate the judiciary, and the presidency. And! you didn't do anything! Except, no I shouldn't say that... You passed 'Medicare part D'. Which said, let's see, if we give the pharma enough money, let's see if they do the right thing(regarding lower prices.) This is like jabberwokie, which is a language spoke in 'Alice through the looking glass.' That if you say these words enough, sooner or later they take on a life of their own. You can feel free to do that, but he American people know. You're standing in the defensea system that everyone knows is broken! Every knows is too expensive! Everyone knows doesn't work! and we, were elected, to change that. I yield back.*end of clip*

There you go, I like that! That's a little bit of strength. It's clear concise and everybody, gets it. They should use the whole month of August to keep on attacking, just like that.

2. Excellent!
It's beyond me how anyone in America can still buy into the crap the right wing are spewing about all this.

Maybe I'm showing my naivete here but if you pay $700 a month only to get denied when you need help, are you considered one of the ones that has coverage? Because you ain't.

But it must be frustrating to you to have to go around providing sumamries and transcripts when the OPs simply won't bother, no matter how often they are asked.
