Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised with a great statement from congressman Weiner...

Michael Savage Weiner should probably rethink of which name he's changed. Perhaps he should change his first name to "OscarMayer" instead of his last name!

Nice comments from congressman Weiner! I'm glad that our congress critters are getting more courage each day to be voices for us instead of the lobbyists!

Though having public campaign financing in place would make this battle a lot easier, perhaps we can use this whole monumental grass roots effort that we have the entire public energized and working hard to fight the lobbyists here will help us use as an example to sell to the public later why we need public campaign financing SO much now, so that we don't have to go through this sort of herculean effort again to get anything that supports us rather than corporate America later.
