11. Regardless of what you call them

most politicians don't want change. The best thing that can happen for them is if everything stays the same. That way, they can tell the ones who wanted it that they tried but couldn't get it done, while at the same time, the ones who didn't want it are happy because it didn't happen. This is true of any issue.
