Particularly interesting are this man's wonderful description of the 9/11 report.

Most Brits (speaking as one) are not in huge support of torture. Although, not to say we've been any better on this one in history, and who knows possibly still covertly. I don't think that brit would actually be allowed to say that on british tv. All dependent on the level of complaints but not sure he would of said it nonetheless if he was here, thought it but not said it.

A: it gives the illusion of internationalizing the argument.
B: It suggests we have more support than we do.

C: For some unknowable reason, possibly related to the pitiful US public education system, we automatically assume that someone with a british accent is more intelligent.
