LOL. I couldn't resist posting this gem from O'Reilly:

O'Reilly: "And that's what I always say to people: Be careful what you do with tape because of the internet."

This is coming from the guy who was caught on tape repeatedly sexually harassing his then-producer, Andrea Mackris.

Bill knows all about being careful with tape -- he paid quite a bit of hush money before learning his lesson.

2. As usual, Billo The Clown misses the point
The point being, of course, that the dentist (oral surgeon?) clearly gave this poor kid too much anesthesia. The boy is clearly scared, not knowing what's real, not even able to tell for sure how many fingers he's holding up...it's insane. Instead of videotaping it, the parents should've taken that child straight home, then called the dentist to complain.

I'm a veteran of oral surgery, having had it MANY times, so I know of what I speak here. I also know that they make you pay for oral surgery BEFORE the procedure, so the father had no reason to sit there in the parking lot filming, when his son was scared, confused, and--quite frankly--stoned.

The only person "exploiting" this is Billo himself. Anybody here think O'Reilly would've invited the father on the show, if the video had gotten very few hits, and Billo's only concern was the child's welfare?

Hell, no--he just wanted to pounce on an internet phenomenon and exploit it, himself.

Bill O'Reilly is a garbage bag filled with vomit, posing as a human being.

3. Yes, Bill.

You do need to be careful with what you tape... As they often do become internet sensations...

Though that guy must have needed the cash. You would be a knucklehead to turn up on Billo's show and make a clown of yourself like that.

5. The fact that Billo
has good ratings is a reflection on America's ignorance. Fox viewers don't know the difference between news and propaganda. They are to be pitied and also have their voting and driving privileges revoked.

6. O'Reilly shows his sensitivity for the little guy by hammering some ordinary person about nothing.
O'Reilly's self awareness is very near zero.

9. Dad seems like a pretty well-adjusted guy

"What's positive about it?"

What's positive about sharing a cute childhood moment? How warped does one have to be to ask a question like that?

22. "What's positive about it?"
Poor little Billy's parents must have humiliated him at every turn. Christmas with the relatives watching 8mm home movies was hell for little Bill-o! (That's why he thinks it's a war!)

8. O'Reilly must be some kind of pervert

I mean really. A cute family moment captured on tape and shared with others, and he sees something sinister in that?

"But that's going to follow him for the rest of his life" or whatever... My goodness, a home movie of me falling in the bathtub at age three has followed me for the rest of my life too. It's pretty funny.

I have to believe that something was seriously amiss in O'Reilly's early life. A big part of the joy of children is that they do and say funny stuff.

11. Oh I see
O'Lielly was framed because his tapes went on the internetS. I think that is what he was getting at. Like someone could edit them without being charged for a crime.

O'Lielly lives in Hannity's America. http://www.wisecountyissues.com/?p=138 Bully boy knows it all and never does anything questionable. No wonder we've turned into a torturing Nazi nation.

13. Bill-O the clown
The fact that an asshole like Bill-O still has a bully pulpit to run off at the mouth is a disgrace. I'm disappointed that President Obama hasn't come down hard on Fox News and hate talk radio.

19. don't "expect" anything
But I would like to see the fairness doctrine resurrected. MSNBC is covered thanks to Morning Joe. Fox News and the rest of the Nazi Talk Networks would be in serious trouble.

Edited on Sun Jun-07-09 04:15 PM by butterfly77
because this child went to the dentist and had a bad experience and it was posted on the internets? O'lielly really believes he is still living in the 1950's,children these days see so many outrageous things on an everday basis on on their neighborhood street, mall, schools, and everywhere else does he really think we can hide the world from kids.

Does he worry about what children in other countries are seeing everyday like, rape, murder and other heinous acts. These people are really ridiculous who in the hell do they think they are talking to...Also add Glenn beck to the nutcases that are living in a former time, just like their hero Reagan was he thought he was living in the 1930's and 40's..

O'Reilly manages to make something perfectly innocent seem somehow sleazy.

Because he is.

They should know he is going to be gunning for them. To quote Tootsie, "I wouldn't, would you?"

26. Christ Billo
When I was 10 years old, I farted so God damn loud on the family Christmas video while my sister was demonstrating her piano skills on her new keyboard, that everybody, even the camera, heard it quite well. It was one of those really big Christmases too where all the out of town relatives have come, you know? And the worst part of it was, I was in the other room when it happened.

Try living that one down. This kid will be just fine.
