President Obama announced a plan last week to extend unemployment benefits for people who go back to school. For some reason, this decision has got the GOP in an uproar, and they don't want unemployed people to get any kind of special benefits from the government. Mike Papantonio of Air America's Ring of Fire takes on the Bulls and Bears on Fox News to debate the issue.

correct me if I am wrong but don't those that are employed pay taxes to pay for their unemployment benefits if they did lose their job?

So I don't' get why it's bad for someone who paid into the system to get some help so they can get retrained and go back to work.
