Hoax? As so many have said since her disgusting display on the floor of the House, she is a hoax. A HATEFUL hoax!!!

7. The Foxx woman is completely illiterate, insenstive and cruel.

She labels Mr. Shepard as an "incident;" describes the horror of what he endured as "unfortunate." The hoax is that she has an office on Capitol Hill and is allowed to vote on legislation and speak from the House floor.

8. Well said! As a mother myself of a gay teen, I simply cannot...

..imagine the pain this has caused her, the fact that she lost her son is in and of itself bad enough but to have that extra dagger put into your side that his death was simply because he was gay adds to the horrific nature of his death in a way I know I never want to find out.

I found it just that more shameful that this so called 'Rep' Foxx would have the audacity to say these things right in front of his mother. Obviously Foxx hasn't had a child murdered. Ms Sheppard is a woman to be honoured, for the immense restraint she has shown. I know had it been me in her shoes, someone would have to hold me back from kicking Foxx's ass off that podium!
