"Spot on," as Thom Hartmann would say. Let's face it, no matter how they try to dress it up in flags, uniforms, ribbons, and parades, killing is violence, destruction, and inhumanity.

The two great commandments are really one,

"Love thy God with all thy heart, mind, and strength" and "Love thy neighbor as thyself."

Matthew 22:36-40

But there's no way we can love our neighbor, too, if we're giving God ALL our love, unless, God is IN our neighbor!

So it's really very simple and clear, isn't it? The people who make excuses are not being honest.

2. Now wait just a minute...

You know good and well when Jesus said "Love thy neighbor as thyself," he meant it in the context of your white, republican neighbor. There is no clause in that statement for non-white, non-republican.

Just wanted to clear that up for you.
