Some of today's anti-gay protesters in San Francisco were bussed in from the Sacramento area's massive Russian/Slavic community, many of whom belong to the extreme right-wing organization http://www.watchmenonthewalls.com/">Watchmen On The Walls. The group was co-founded by the former California director of Focus On The Family and Latvia-born preacher http://ngteam.org/NWO.htm">Alexey Ledyaev. The Watchmen are listed as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

1. Too bad they're NOT Christian... Don't believe me? read the New Testament (these people have NOT)

Jesus Christ spoke of 2 things in reference to the sanctity of marriage;

1.Adultery
2.Divorce

HOMOSEXUALITY IS NEVER MENTIONED IN REFERENCE TO THE SANCTITY OF MARRIAGE -CHECK THE NEW TESTAMENT

Furthermore, I would be willing to bet the farm that at least one of these self-righteous pseudo-Christians has had a divorce or committed adultery but chances are you'll never see them protesting for that legislation because those are shortcomings they have in common with us liberal "heathens".

So technically, according to the New Testament, adultery and divorce are more threatening to the sanctity of marriage -THAT MEANS PEOPLE LIKE ANN COULTER AND RUSH LIMBAUGH ARE MORE AN "ABOMINATION" ON MARRIAGE (BECAUSE OF THEIR COUNTLESS DIVORCES) THAN A GAY DUDE (Biblically speaking)

Ere-go, these people are not Christians, but pseudo christian; those who feel they are exempt from the moral teachings of Christ because of the divinity of Christ. This is my biggest beef with the right wing; THEIR PERVERSION OF CHRISTIANITY.

2. Religion Out
Religion should have no place in policy-making anyway.

Even Christ said, "Give unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's and Give unto God the things that are God's."

5. I thought that passage referred to taxes and church donations...
In any case. If Jesus ever existed, then he was a 30 yr old single male. That alone should be the first hint. The fact that he traveled with only men all over the place for over 3 years... should be the second hint about Jesus' sexual orientation.

In any case, if they want to keep the taxes off their churches. Then they need to get the church out of our government. Period.

6. Giving anything to the government is giving anything to the government...

... wether it's taxes, time, manpower, energy, attention, whatever. There was a distinction that was being made between human power and the power of God. Take Pat Robertson for instance; he calls himself a Christian but he's first and foremost a right wing politician. As far as your remark about Christ's sexual orientation; there in lies the difference between someone believing He is God and someone believing He was just a man. God has no sexual orientation; man most certainly does. It'd be nice if more liberals approached Christianity the same way they approached all the issues they were passionate about and READ FROM THE SOURCE. I sincerely doubt someone like you gathered somewhat of a distaste for Christianity by actually reading the New Testament. Instead I'm assuming you're going off of the right wing evangelicals and other selfish "money-exchangers" who live completely contradictory toward Christ's principles of love, peace, forgiveness, acceptance, tolerance, and pacifism. Read the New Testament (not just the blurbs you use to dispel it) and you'll realize Christ was more a liberal than you realize. The way to be right, to be fortified, and well versed in any subject is to educate yourself with it and not by the people who misrepresent it; theology is no different.
