2. I Believe This is Very Telling
As Schneider said, the Republicans claimed the Dems wanted America to lose in Iraq. That was another outright lie. Many of us didn't believe we should be there and we didn't think it was winnable, but we never wanted America to fail. We don't think the way they think. The fact that they want Obama to fail is very different than believing his policies will fail. Republicans think so differently than we do--it blows my mind. They truly are evil, selfish people which makes them believe that is the way of the majority. It isn't.

4. Limbaugh is effectively the leader of what is left of the GOP
And that is fantastic news for us. These CPAC types are one step removed from skinheads. This is not where America is today.

8. I don't know. Conservatives are like weeds, they always grow back.
We still haven't destroyed radical fundamentalist Binladism, or its more moderate cousin the Taliban. What makes you think we will ever be rid of these assholes and their gun caches?

When they are still capable of leading the media around by the nose (see Rick Santelli), then we still have serious problems.

19. Republicans think so differently than we do--it blows my mind.
And yet Ann Coulter writes book after book about Democrats and liberals...like she even begins to understand how we think about our world and the people and things in it. As one can read....and you don't have to read much (like the back of the cover) she knows NOTHING about liberalism. She can't even begin to get into the concept of it. Clueless....like Limbaugh. And they think everyone should be LIKE THEM!!!! Yikes!(Liberals don't think everyone should be the same, y'know. Someone tell these Conservatives.)

9. It isn't sedition
Rush and all the other wingnuts are free to say they hope Obama fails if they like. The majority of the country wants Obama and our country to succeed. If this is the way the Republicans want to be seen I say "have at it hoss".

12. Oh my god.
That was grotesque. What a horrifically ugly human being. I've believed for years if anyone should go to Gitmo and be tortured for treason and inciting hate/terrorism, it should be this fat fuck.

There's a few others I'd add to that list. I think you can guess who they are...

Edit to add that I think Bill Schneider was right on the money with his comments.

13. Methane alert!
There's more toxic gas eminating from this bloated windbag than from all the feedlots in Texas. His unrelenting manner of hate speech is a survival mechanism actually. Without it he would literally explode.

16. Limbaugh attempts to legitimize the wish that Obama fails
by saying Dems wished Bush failed. This meme needs to be nipped in the bud now. Bush's mission of sucking money, liberty and life out of this country (and others) was accomplished. Informed Americans and most people abroad were against this mission. Period.

***Bush&Co DID NOT FAIL in their mission*** The RW GOP old dirty trick of feigning weakness cannot work now, in any shape or form.

18. Limbaugh is delivering the grand summation of the GOP 's last 8 years.
Edited on Sun Mar-01-09 01:47 PM by Wizard777
There must be failures for republicans to succeed. The republicans failures have been rewarded with more power to achieve greater failures to be rewarded with more power to achieve greater failures to be awarded with more power. For the last 8 years the republicans have hedged all their hopes and dreams on the Bush administrations ability to induce the government to failure. Be it failure to defend America from 9/11 hijackings, failure of intelligence from a three day junta to the CIA, or failure of economic policies. So I can completely understand why Limbaugh would think that all power is derived from failures. That if Republicans can derive great power from their own failures. Then the single failure of Democrats should give Republicans Omnipotent Power.

What America must ultimately teach the Republicans is simple. The Republicans Old Black Magic Failure Mojo will no longer work. The Spell is broken. America will punish failure and reward success. If America doesn't do this. America will never succeed at anything ever again.
